I d/l'd this so that I could play Commander Keen with some real sound instead of the PC speaker. But its giving me more problems than solving. I need to brush up on my DOS skills, but thats what the internet is for. Anyways, I try to acces the folder COMMAN~1 (The folder with my commander keen games) and it says that I can access it. What gives? Plus, I also d/l'd it from http://www.dosgames.com, with the other utils on it.

Take a look at my FAQ for Ultima Underworld. Use normal short DOS names at the root directory. Also change the polling speed.
EDIT: And take note of the mounting procedure. You need to mount a folder to see it in DOSBOX.

Maybe, maybe not. Dosbox is so old, it may be barfing on the naming conventions. Just create a simple sub-dir and mount that.
