recheck and make sure the driver is in fact the exact model number, is it hooked up hdmi?

Driver Issues
Recently I purchased a acer 24 inch monitor and my PC wouldn't see it, I downloaded a new driver off the nvidia website and it's working but I am having aa problem ever since I did that my PC gives me the bsod them after reseting the screen turns blue for 2 mins and then the desktop pops up. it does this every time I turn on my PC, can somebody help me?
