I love it when he puts that little ding dong Joffrey in his place.

sourceCD Projekt RED just announced that acclaimed actor Charles Dance, well known for his roles in The Last Action Hero, Alien 3 and Game of Thrones will provide his iconic voice to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, playing the part of the Emperor of Nilfgaard.
Lead Writer Marcin Blacha commented to accompany the announcement:
Charles Dance is the perfect candidate to play the mighty Nilfgaardian emperor in our upcoming title. It's a dream come true for the team here at RED to be able to work with such an accomplished actor and magnetic personality.
You do know the series is based on a series of books right?Originally Posted by PhotonFanatic
Couldn't get into the witcher series. They had mideval elements to the game, yet far deviated from the mideval realism. I mean I know its called "The Witcher" and all, but they could have at least made the social classes behave like they did back then. And towards women.
Well beyond that they spend a little too much time focusing on the nudity of their chicks. They're a lot like blizzard is in that regard. Blizz spends way too much time trying to get you to focus on how cool a monster looks in a cutscene. Its a little self important and "look at me! Look how good we are at this!"Originally Posted by Vengeance47

CDPR did not create The Witcher, author Andrzej Sapkowski created it and personally, I actually like that The Witcher doesn't just follow the same standard 'ye old' crap that a million other games have done before it. Its good to be different and the politics in The Witcher are far more complex than in almost any other RPG I have ever played, especially in number 1. I understand the game isn't for you, but seeing as it is largely guided by the lore in the books (though CDPR have made adaptations ofc and add/removed things), its kind of unrealistic to expect CDPR to stray from what Sapkowksi originally created.
