DS3+Geil (800) vs S3+Corsair (800) - Which is best in my situation

I am getting the following parts:

C2D E6400
Gigabyte DS3 [w/Geil] Gigabyte S3 [w/Corsair]
Geforce 7900GS

Now, for exactly £10 difference I can choose either:

Geil Ultra DDR2 2.0GB PC6400 Dual Channel Kit (2 x 1GB) 800MHz (4-4-4-12) with Aluminium heat spreader http://www.microdirect.co.uk/product...roductID=14777

OR

2Gb CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC6400 (800), 240 Pinns, CAS 4-4-4-12

The corsair's are +£10. I've heard bad things about this brand on this forum.... but I'm not sure which RAM is best to get. I will be OC'ing to 3.1GHz. Remember the difference is only £10 so I don't mind parting if its for good reason ^__^
The motherboard also changes if I get the corsairs or geil. From S3 to DS3 respectively.

Your opinions please.

I would get the corsair. I have been running corsair ram for 2 yrs with no problems. Just curious but why do you need to change mb when picking diff ram. The corsair should run fine on the DS3 mb.
There's no difference in tech specs between the S3 and the DS3 aside from the solid capacitors, so it's up to you

Thanks. Then I will go with the cheaper ^^. I just thought one or the other would OC better....

I change mobo because I am comparing from two different stores. One place has Geil RAM the other has Corsair. They also don't have the same mobo's. So I have to decide...
I'm going with the Corsair's + S3 combo.

Cheers once again ^^

There Both really good RAM brands. However out of the two Listed i would go for the Corsair personally. Ther Overall Quality seems better.
