Dual Monitor Mouse Help Please.

I just got a second lcd monitor so that while playing pc games on my main display, i can monitor my game servers with Rcon and also see who's talking in TeamSpeak...the problem i am having is, while im in game on my primary monitor, i cannot get my mouse cursor to move to the second monitor with minimizing the game....is there a way to have my game running on 1 screen, and use my mouse on the other screen? Thanks.

If the game is full screen, no, you can't. You could try running the game windowed on the second monitor, but at the default resolution so it takes up the entire screen. Then just pause the game and you should be able to go to the other monitor.

Technically that means the game would be running in windowed mode, with the game window filling one whole monitor. This might work with some games, and won't work with others.

Try configuring the game to run in windowed mode at the native resolution of the display you want it to fill. Then while the game is running you may need to Alt-tab or something similar to unbind the mouse from the game so you can use it on the desktop on your other display.

i was thinking maybe there would be software that would let me do this....the search continues.

You can take a look at UltraMon. That is what I use when I use my TV as a second monitor. I am not sure if it has that option but none-the-less it is a good program to use for dual monitor setups.
