There'll always be dual socket server boards, so yes.

Yes you can. My SuperMicro X9DAE supports SLI and so do many other boards.

To answer your question there will be a dual socket board for Haswell based Xeons it will most likely use CXXX chipset. X99 will be single socket only though as QPI links will be disabled. Dual QPI links will probably be limited to Xeons only.

Now that would be cool if the dual socket cpu was the extreme edition cpu, that you can overclock unlike the xeon!

THAT would be cool.

Crossfire doesn't need certification unlike SLI, so as long as you have PCI-E slots, it will run on any board. For SLI you'll have to wait and see what's available.
