I have a ducky one with blue keys laying around. I dont use it because I dont like blue switches. I am going to get 20 reds and make it a gaming keyboard, hopefully in the future I can get 101 red switches. I have never replaced switches before. What type do I need?

Plate mounted or PCB mounted?
Do you know where I can find them cheaper?

I believe most Ducky's are plate mounted, but take a switch off and you'll see.

If it's not immediately obvious then, you can take the keyboard case apart and there should be 2 separate layers if plate mounted, or only 1 if PCB mounted.

You should be able to buy cheapers ones off Ebay, wasdkeyboards specializes in this so they have a quite decent markup. Just be careful of counterfeits.
