Hey everyone. I'm having a problem where my dvd drives dont get detected. they dont get detected anywhere, my computer, device manager, no where in the control panel. the dvd drives are plugged in and everything and power is going through it (can open dvd drive bays). they dont even get detected in the bios.<br><br>
i got a DVD-rom and a lightscribe dvd+/- R drive<br><br>
it would be great if anyone can give me some tipson what i should do<br><br>

1. this is for technical issues for the Website, not your DVD drives<br>
2. try plugging them into a different IDE thing. (don't remember what it's called. but on the Mobo.)<br><a href="http://www.overclock.net/computer-peripherals/" target="_blank">This</a> would be the proper place to make a thread about optical drives.

Probably a bad cable (or too long). Check it and try it in a different connector on the board.
