Like the title says I'm looking for a good program that can convert my dvd's to a H.264 file.

I want one that will hopefully take advantage of my 2 4850's. I Read a couple other threads but they don't directly relate to what i want to do so I need help finding something for ripping my dvd's for storage on my HDD.

Would FairUse be a good program to use?

well the actual ripping is soley based on your drive as far as encoding with your 4850 there is a program that you can use ATI Avivo XCode but i read that quality isnt the best. I would look at Ripbot its what I use http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=127611

I use a combination of Vobblanker to split up each "chapter" (since my DVD recorder turns out .vob formats) and Handbrake to encode. Both are free. Works great.
