very much true. and with the 360 almost all the games that are currently available aren't even really pushing the 360. There is still quite a bit in there to unlock.

360 is kinda DX9.72, not as good as 10, but as good, if not better, if utilized properly, than any DX9 card. However, it only has to render at 30 FPS, making things very easy compared to us PC users who want 120 FPS with 16X AA a 57000 x 39500 resolution on our 16 24 inch Dell Widescreen Monitors

But no more than 2 GBs of RAM... ever

cough*oblivion*cough. The 360 is being pushe like crazy by oblivion, it can't max it out. That three-core cpu is helping, but a 8800GTZ will be unstoppable.

who said it was being pushed.. personally i think dead or alive 4 looks much better then oblivion and doa4 hardly stresses the 360 at all either.. i think it was just bad coding and bloating that made the game difficult to run.. for pc and 360

Well, the fact that the 360 cn't max out oblivion means it is being pushed. Also, a lot of games can look better than oblivion, but none are as taxing (fear with soft shadows comes close).

Oh? Try 1600x1200 AA and AF w/ HDR in Oblivion. OWNED
Crysis soon. OWNED
Alan Wake soon. OWNED

There are a few other games you couldn't max out as well (Everquest 2).

Sry, I feel like a ***** today.

The R500 GPU in the 360 is a hybrid GPU, supporting DX9 and some DX10 instructions. So the 360 will have support for certain DX10 features (though Im not sure what they are yet), but not as many as a full-fledged DX10 card like the G80 or R600 would have.
