idk wat to pick, the e6300 or 6600. the main thing thats makin it hard to deside is the L2. will the e6300 still perform good wiht out the other 2mb or wat? will the extra make a big difference if i'm just gona be playing games and doing some video converting. i would think that 2mb of L2 would eb fine for all of that, but i want your guys word on that<br><br><br>
also i'v heard that intels arnt good to run xp x64 on, is that true?<br><br>

E6300 is you have ram capable of DDR2-1000<br><br>
E6600 if you have so-so ram.

What's wrong with X6800 and DDR2 1000 ram? lol apart from being expensive?

</div>Has been said..This is mainly due to there EMT64 extension i think..Not as good as AMD cpu's with 64 bit apps. <br />
<br />
Well if you have the money i would say the E6600 due to the higher Multi which may help in overclocking and the extra 2mb cache will help you IMO a good deal.

Yeah, because 64-bit is so widely use and your vast abundace of use and knowledge of 64-bit is what makes you feel that way? Oh well! Too bad we're still using 32-bit and most likely 64-bit will never take off due the 200+ million computer users that will not be upgrading to 64-bit. Game and software developers will think that way.
