I've been trying to get a little bit of an overclock with my new rig, but as of yet I can only hit 310FSB. Anything higher (even 311) and my system won't post, it just...ticks every few seconds.

I know this isn't a great motherboard for overclocking, but I'd just like to get as much as possible out of it. I've got 1GB(2x512) of Corsair Value RAM, PC2-5300, 667MHz. I should be able to push the FSB to around 330-333, right? I'm new to overclocking and I don't really know what settings I should be changing in my BIOS for this board. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, maybe you just did get as much as possible.

Have you tried:
-Use more Vc?
-More Vdimm?
-Run a 1:1 ratio?
-Lock PCI-Ex to 101
-Lock PCI to 33.33mhz

Last but not least, use a 3rd party heat-sink/fan, the stock unit is poor, so chances why it may not be going any higher could be that the temps are getting way up there too. Then again, you also have to take into consideration that PSU you have, to me it sounds like crap and should really get something like an OCZ PowerStream 520W at least.

But maybe you just got as much as possible.

Even Corsair's Value RAM will overclock a little, so you could robably go over 333 and still get 1:1...however, Nasgul is right, that PSU is a little weak, you're on stock air cooling so I have to wonder what your temps are at even at 310FSB.

What is your vCore set to right now and what are your temps?

You may be at the limit for those componants.

Looks like the mobo doesn't let me go past that. I can't even edit the vCore and a bunch of other things. I'll replace the board with something better, when I can afford it.
