Hi, i'm looking for a lower end CPU and I was just wandering what the value of a unknown vid E6550 would be here on OCN. I have somebody offering me one but nethier one of us know the price ( lol ). Also is this a better chip than the E5300?

nah the e5300 would have better stock performance, and would oc better as well.

i guess the e6550 would go for $60 max? Dunno...

e6550? well i bought a e6600 here for $65 shipped, lapped, and the e6550 is worse.
id say its better than the e5300 STOCK. it wont oc as well due to the multi (7x)
its got 4mb L2 vs 2mb on the e5x00.
