I already have a dell 30" ultrasharp but my daughter is taking it to her room,so i want to buy a Korean Branded 27" 2560x1440 i have $400 to spend and i want to ask what brand is the best to get,i see about 5 brands but dont know what brand to get.If i can get some help it be nice.thx

Your daughter is taking your $1k monitor and you're buying yourself a $400 one?

Monoprice would be your best bet if you live in the states as they provide a one year warranty.

If you have a microcenter close by get one of these.

I vote microcenter, their new panels have very low to no defects at all. Only 1 defect reported on this forums and it was minor light bleed.

I so wish there was a Microcenter where I live. The Fry's nearby used to be great, but now they mostly just sell consumer-grade stuff, and their prices aren't that great these days. I'm *always* seeing crazy sweet deals offered at MC.

I drove from pittsburgh to cleveland and back for my monitor, and for the experience. Closest to a MC we have here is best buy. Microcenter feels like a computer flea market. It was amazing.

Didn't get to discuss anything in depth with the associates but they were all extremely nice.

MC is an amazing store. I'm actually extremely happy that I have 2 very close to me (<30 min driving)
