After 2 successful years of EK-Supreme CPU water block, EK is almost ready to release its successor.
The EK-Supreme HF (high flow).
Block will be based on same concept as EK-Supreme.

Blocks main improvements are:
-better flow up to 100% higher flow compared or EK-Supreme
-better cooling performance

Enclosed in the box:
  • -EK-Supreme HF water block
  • -4 different jet plates + 1 blank
  • -Universal supported mounting plates:
    oIntel: 775, 1366, 1156, xeon
    oAMD: AM2, AM2+, AM3, 939, 754, opteron
  • -Universal CPU retention backplate
  • -Thermal grease Arctic Cooling MX-2 (2g)

Will try and get some real life photos up ASAP.

Ooohh niice. I always felt that my EK supreme was a little tooo restrictive, but a simple removal of the nozzle plate fixes that with a slight rise in temps..but i want to see the internals of this too.

I would think it is indeed meant to compete with it, as well as with the XT. I doubt they would release an updated block if it is lacking compared to the competition, but we'll have to wait for some numbers first. With the right jet plate, it should perform better than the current Supreme, and/or(?) allow better flow, an issue that makes the current block a less than ideal choice in a loop with multiple blocks/rads.
The inclusion of different jet plates (and a blank one) is a nice feature for tweaking.

They're for selecting what kind of flow you want, there's the high flow, stock flow, low flow, and the first one is I think center cooling for I guess non quads or something. The blank one is for customizing your own.

That's not the HF, though.

Note; preliminary testing done @ XS (no charts yet, sorry, this is paraphrased from the testers) has shown the HF to be equal to the Heatkiller 3.0 CU, and almost within margin of error to the Apogee XT. It's a potent block, and the quality of the interior is worlds apart from the first batches of the Apogee XT. Worth the money if you see it on sale.
