Why am I getting emails from alerts days later?

Also seeing Alerts for the same thing more than once

Is this still occurring ? I have not received any other complaints just yet.

Yes. I'll look more into my email/notification settings but it's still continuing.

I assume once I see it as a notification that I won't get an email about it but maybe i have something configured wrong.

I am not sure what would be causing it to be honest. I think the onsite notifications and email notifications are completely different systems, so you would likely still get an email notification irrespective of if you already saw it on site, that is how most forum softwares work.
