at the moment i have these things enabled.<br><br>
should they be enabled or disabled?<br><br>
CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)<br><br>
CPU Thermal Monitor 2 (TM2)<br><br>
CPU EIST Function<br><br>
Virtualization Technology<br><br>

I'm not sure if you have to disable C1E in the bios with a Gigabyte board. I don't think they have a bugged C1E control like the Asus Bios. Try it out with C1E enabled, if it works then you would be saving power and cpu lifespan.

CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) DISBALED<br><br>
CPU Thermal Monitor 2 (TM2) DISABLED (thinking about enabling this now <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"> )<br><br>
CPU EIST Function DISABLED<br><br>
Virtualization Technology DISABLED<br><br>
Whats the Thermal Monitor about (probably a very stupid question)<br><br>
I've seen it disabled on many a bios picture

Virtualization Technology is only used when you run either VMWARE server or M$ Virtual server. other than that, it's dormant.
