CompuLab has been holding it down on the diminutive front for years now, though the outfit's latest mini PC packs even more features than ever before. Measuring just 4- x 4.5- x 1.05-inches and weighing only 13 ounces, the fit-PC2i is hailed as the planet's smallest dual gigabit Ethernet-equipped PC. Other specs include an Intel Atom Z5xx CPU (from 1.1GHz to 2GHz), up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, room for a 2.5-inch HDD, audio in / out, built-in WiFi, four USB 2.0 ports and Windows 7 (if you so choose).

I find this amazing for some reason. I love small machines like this, and I thought the Mac Mini was extremely small, but after looking at this, it's no comparison.
that thing is the size of my phone lol.
Oc?
Interesting, its smaller than the mouse sitting next to it....why not go one step further and put the pc IN the mouse...

I herby copyright the name "Mouseputer"

And why does it need dual ethernet?

To be an awesome little router box?
just not sure what I could do with it.

Midget PC's, Can these be run in Crossfire?
These seems pretty neat, I wouldn't mind having one for the "Family/Guest Computer"

price?? this might be good for my mom and dad
Looks like just another nettop. Though, quite a bit smaller than others. Seems like the Mac Mini still manages to fit quite a bit more into a space that's not much bigger.

PC2i: 4 x 4.5 x 1.05 - 13oz
Up to 2GHz Atom
Up to 2GB DDR2
4 USB 2.0
Built in WiFi

Mini: 6.5 x 6.5 x 2 - 46.2oz
Up to 2.66GHz C2D
Up to 4GB DDR3
5 USB 2.0 + Firewire 800
Built in WiFi
CD/DVD Burner

The PC2i probably beats in in price/performance though.

From your numbers, Mac Mini is 350% bigger?

If you're talking about cubic inches of space, it's more like 450% bigger. But, I'd still consider it to still be in the same category. I can hold my old mini in my hand and the edges of it only reach from my wrist to my finger tips. It's still a very small computer that can be placed about anywhere.

Do you think this will have ion graphics? Would make a nice HTPC if it did. Just needs an external optical drive.

What is the point of a computer this small? When your computer is completely eclipsed by a mouse you have well passed a reasonable price/power point.

What processor does that computer have? The atoms are horrifyingly underpowered for modern day apps. (They have less power than the old semperons)

So it can run Endian and Untangle. That thing would make an awesome lil firewall/router!
