We're just now wrapping our heads around that 1TB SSD that pureSilicon launched in January, and already ASUS is looking to place us back in a state of disbelief with its newfangled Lamborghini VX5 laptop. Said machine, which is slated to debut tomorrow alongside a litany of other products here in Hannover, will sport a 1TB SSD, a Core 2 Quad CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 16-inch "Full HD" display. You'll also find a GeForce GT 130M graphics card with 1GB of GDDR3 memory, an illuminated "chiclet" style keyboard and a Blu-ray optical drive to boot. Needless to say, this one's aimed at those not fazed by stratospheric price tags, and we're saying that well before the MSRP has been made public. Call it a hunch... or just superb deductive reasoning.

1TB SSD!! Holy crap! That thing has to be a couple thousand dollars! Isane!
They have all that awesomeness then a half-assed "Oh, we need a video card" video card. Sigh.

1TB SSD is pretty friggin impressive though.
LOL I remember paying 2k for a 1 gig full high drive.
damn.. wheres the 4870x2?! i wouldnt need all that space especially an ssd.. but a 4870 x2 is god like and so is this SSD
They got no more names to use now they gotta copy branded cars. Lulz.
GT 130m? Thats a higher clocked 9600M, which is a higher clocked 8600M, which is a lower clocked 8600M GT.

Its not a Lamborghini, its a freakin Hyundai Tiburon :/
I bet the 1tb ssd sucks butt compared to normal hard drives performance wise unless its 250 gb ssd's x 4, raid-0 internally in one ssd.

Asus has had a Lamborghini line for years. They pay a homage to the cars, and tend to come in bright colors. And they've got ridiculous price tags.

It's called a licensing agreement. Use your brain.

Lambo series of laptops look cool, but the prices are outrageous. Oh well maybe one day when I hit the lotto. I wonder how that 1Tb SSD performs.
