Hello! I used to have the wonders of playing BF2 with out a pagefile (due to 1.5gb ram) and worked fine with abnout 300mbs of ram free...then my cd key didnt work so i reinstalled the game! problem solved then comes the problem. i now cannot play bf2 without a pagefile? any ideas anyone? something related i did put 2.8V of voltage through the ram but emetest 86 says it is fine. it try playing bf2 choppy gameply and then it exits me form the game with windows saying i am low on virtual memory.....any ideas?

i had tha exact same problem with my old pc so accpet it was with the demo so i bought the full version and it fixed it i would tr installing it again should work just it has loaded a driver wrong mine said my system ram was like 123233315gb a giant number lol i wish try it

Well, with high textures enabled you most likely wont be able to play with 1gb and no page file. Medium textures it is possible but, you need to make sure that only the absolute required files are running with windows before you start the game and even then after playing a while and switching maps you might run out of memory. When I had 1gb, it was random when I ran out of memory. So, I think theres some luck in volved. With at least 1.5 gb, I run without a page file all the time.

thats odd......cos as i said it worked before.....
