That's what it sounds like... The OS does not recognize your ODD so use a different optical disk drive.

I want to try the usb method. I've just been confused as to which of the methods to use for the iso.

Made a boot disk from a flash drive and extracted the root iso directory to the usb. I run the autorun.bat and get an "Invalid Drive Specification" error. I get to the part where I choose the hard drive but it asks me to "Remove the CDROM and reboot my computer. O_O

Wondering if I need to extract the zipped files too.
