Yeah I think the main sensor is shot. it keeps doing it, and it shows the same messed up temp in OCCT as well.

Everest ultimate: CPU temp jumps to 100C+ but cores are 50C
I was running OCCT and all of a sudden the core temp on Everest shot up to 110C, but the core temps were steady around 50C?
If I remember correctly, the Core temp is a diode on the chip were the core temps are sensors built on the hottest spots on the cores? Maybe my main sensor is dieing? A reboot fixed this the first time, but it popped up again.
