Hi im doing a school project on storage devices and was wondering what are all the different types of storage. Off the top of my head i know these:

Dvd
Cd
Pen drive
Sata I/II
ATA
PATA
Usb drive

Also storage thats comming out in the future would be helpful.

You forgot the floppy!, flash memory (like in digital cameras), bubble memory (look into this one)... I Hope this helps!

Magnetic Tape, Punch cards (super old school), PuRAM Drives (mostly a military/large business storage type), Non volitale RAM Drives (Simply a board with many many ram sticks and a battery), HD DVD (Future tech), Blue-ray (Future-tech). All I can think of right now that haven't been posted yet.

These may not apply to your project, but I'm unsure. They're future-tech items. For instance, three-dimensional optical memories, Molecular storage mediums... Read it HERE
