Curious. How close is EVGA's 680i layout to this one?

It's close, but there are still some differences.
The NB mod area is just next to the VTT mod area on 680i reference boards. Vcore and vDIMM area are a bit different too.
Besides the SB chips are not the same(nf430 & nf570).

On the other hand i could easily use the VRM heatsinks of a ref 680i board, because the 650i don't have any of them.
