It should be pretty straight foward, not really anything that can get in your way like heatsinks or anything. You memory Fan may get in the way, but I highly doubt it. Should be pretty easy.
Well, you already have the bolt thru kit so you won't have any board bending, I was about to recommend it. My board bent so bad with the stock push pins
Other than applying your TIM like this, I don't think there is anymore advice to give
just add her on.. make sure when you add the new Vendetta, that as you screw it in. do 4 twists on a screw, do 4 more on the next, and 4 more on the next. and continue like that. so each side gets even pressure and the Thermal Paste gets spread evenly. Also what Thermal Paste are you using. OCZ Freeze, ICD7 and MX-2 are the best.
If your board bends some just dont over tightin your mounting screws or it will not seat correctly this is on all mounting tho,use the plastic shield also it will come off very easy if you need to replace it,imo

I have AS5, Also I thought that getting the back plate was supposed to prevent board bending?
As for cable management I knew I would be adding some parts in a few weeks so I didnt put alot of effort into it.Im only at about 85% build right now.
Just a tip - a link, actually - about applying thermal paste to the OCZ Vendetta 2, which is a "HDT" (Heatpipe Direct Touch or something like that) CPU cooler.
Basically, like he says, the spaces between the pipes and the cooler base will suck up thermal paste if you do the "dot/line in the middle" method. Fill in the spaces, and then put a small (very small) line of paste on each of the two base "partitions"...check out the link for illustrations, the pictures are definitely worth a thousand words or more. I would suggest using even less paste than he does on the two "partitions".
I have that CPU cooler, and I've used his methods repeatedly, and I get great temps on dangerously over-volted cpus. Plus, if you take a look at some of the links on that page, that site found the Vendetta 2 to be "The Best" last Spring. So, good choice! Enjoy!
edit: uh yeah pretty much like GeforceGTS said, but with more words.
