Keep in mind some of the evga boxes say they offer a backplate or something like that but you gotta get it mailed by evga. If its an old box I dont think the promo is current, but a OCN member here got them to honor it since it was printed on the box without a visible expiration date.
A tip for frys though, if your ok eating the cost, buy it then get the refund at customer service later on mentioning it was cheaper online. The department managers can be a pain sometimes but the customer service desk are not as picky as long as its the same model number.
NCIX us has will call if your local...just make sure its in stock at their CA location
sometimes it says instock but its another state.
