evga 8800gts 320mb or saphire x1950gt 256mb

i have both but in diff comps. i need to know what one you guys think would be better for my gameing. my monitor native res is [email protected] i am not worried about physx or anything, just the best performance when everything is cranked up. i play cod4, left 4 dead, supreme commander, grid, coh, and project torque.

8800GTS is the superior card.

The 8800GTS is a much more powerful card. Now if it were between the X1950XTX 512mb...that's another story.

8800 GTS 320 beats even the ati 2900xt. So theres no question about it

well i got the 8800gts from my friend about a year ago. it is the g80 core version a2. it oc's well and i only paid 75 for it. i got the 1950 from fleabay for 25.00 plus shipping, was just going to throw it in my other comp, but the i thought i would ask first if it was better i would put it in my main rig.. thanks guys you have been helpful.

8800GTS 320 is better plus it is a dx10 card.

X1950GT was out around late 06. ATI used it to match 7900GT or 8600GTS.

not really, the 8800GTS 320 is faster than the 1950XTX also in any game, go read the reviews if you dont belive me

i am downloading 3dmark 03 and 05 to see how the 8800gts 320mb bench's, then maybe the x1950gt 256mb as well. i will post results as i get them.

ok i benched them both useing 3dmark 03, i wot bother with 05 or 06 as results are clear enough. the 8800gts got 32667. the x1950gt got only 28763 so the winner is obvious. thanks guys for all your help.

8800GTS is a faster card overall then X1950.
