EVGA 9500GT 512MB - Whoa!

Ok, some of you might think this little card is, uhh, crap, can't handle anything.
I went cheap on this GFX card and went good on the rest of my PC.

But this 9500 GT is awesome, I just got done playing the Fear 2 demo on max settings, 4x anti aliasing, etc. Crazy high FPS.

This card has handle everything I have put towards it, no lag on anything.

I plan on upgrading to a 9800GTX, maybe in a month or two.

But for those who want a good cheap video card get this if you don't have a lot to spend, or want this to fit in your budget.

This is the one I have:

I would have gotten this one in January, but didn't see it:

What resolution did you play at?

Also, for about the same price, you could get an 8800gs Used, so thats probablly a better option to consider.
If it's that good, is there much point in getting 9800GTX? why not wait to see if prices of other cards drop a bit?

Seriously. I had a 9500GT for a while (attempting PhysX). Mirror's Edge at 1680x1050 couldn't handle AA at any level.

I was playing in 1280x1024. And it was lag free wonderful, max temps on the card got to 54C.

I will definitely look towards getting that card, but I heard its only a rebranded 9800 gtx.

No, the rebranded 9800 GTX is the GTS 250. The GTS 260 is far from a rebranded 9800.

So this is a good one?

Quick question, my board doesn't support sli, only crossfire, and I kinda want to keep the 9500 gt. Would I be able to use it as a physx card?

Yes. Just plug it in your secondary PCI-E slot and whatever card you decide to upgrade to in your 1st or primary PCI-E slot. Then just enable PhysX in nVidia Control Panel.
