Is this a safe temp? I got up to that temp in atitool and stopped. It's been clocked about 50mhz higher in both core and memory. It has a fan, and it idles around 46C~

Whats a good temp to stop OCing at?
I'd stop at a FurMark load of about 95C-100C. That'll be about 80C-85C in normal games, which is safe for GPUs.

Many cards have been rated to be safe up until around 120C, but i'm skeptical... thats above boiling temp.
When OC'ing I try to keep the load under 80C
Yea, 90°C is the max you would want to hit, 80°C is about the max I like to have it running normally at.
I have a 7300GT in my HTPC that sits at 73-75°C all the time (passively cooled).
My GSO's would run 79-80°C at times while folding.
yea your fine I had one of those the 256mb 128bit card, it did pretty good at ocing i took it from 350/666 to 500/900 wasnt a bad card once it got OC'd

This! GPUs can withstand head a lot better than CPUs, a CPU would be at it's critical temp these days at around 75C or so. GPUs could go up to 93-95C or so before I'd start turning some stuff down (and the fan up!).
