So my card is the EVGA GTX 670 FTW edition. I was wondering whether coil whine is a problem that warrants an RMA, or i should just put up with it. The latter sort of sucks because after spending £300 on a card, 'making do' isn't really something i'd expect. The card's been doing it since i brought it, but it started off only really doing it in Arma II, but more recently Battlefield 3 and pretty much every game where it's under a decent amount of load. Is there anything i can do about it? I'm pretty sure i could get an RM as EVGA's support is pretty good, it's just this is the second time i've had to replace a card and so far i've been pretty unlucky with the amount of parts i've had to replace for my build

If it's unbearable you should RMA it , EVGA is known for the excellent customer support

Have you tried a different power supply? I have had coil whine on a gpu with one psu and nothing with a newer one. Just a thought.

I am sure they would rma it for you.

I don't have a spare power supply to test it with, however i have thought about getting a replacement as my current one sort of buzzes when i plug it in :/ Also then i'd have a modular one which i'd be able to sleeve. Thanks for the reply!
