Hey I am looking to do my own water cooling system (as soon as the 900D becomes available) and I have 2 EVGA GTX 480's and I would like to watercool them. I am not good with where some of you buy blocks from so I am wondering if any of you know a site that still sells two of them. FrozenCPU and PerformancePCS.com dont have any.

thanks

If you can't find any full WBs which I believe is almost nearly impossible nowadays, your only best bet is to get a Universal WB and some heatsinks for the VRMs.

sell your 480s, use the money from selling them and the money you were going to use to water cool them and upgrade to a current gen card, 670 or 680. that will give you way more performance than than water cooing two 480s ever could...

I also have 2 GTX 480s and was going to sell them but ended up holding on to them for folding. I still went and purchased a GTX 680 Hydro Copper because it was less heat, noise, power etc for my daily use. I will be looking to sell the 680 for the next generation which isn't too far from now. My advice would be if he decides to sell the 480s than he's better off waiting for the 700 series than the 600 since it will be out soon.

For single monitor, 480 SLI still murders anything it comes up against, and they do just fine in a few surround setups. The heat output is prodigious, but they do make great folding cards.

My college refuses to turn up the heat in our rooms and it's usually very cold. So, I got into folding with my sig rig. Stay nice n toasty now....
