and the cpu is an i7 860 that will easily hit 4ghz on crappy air, 4.2ghz+ on water or good air coolers. CPU Has been carefully lapped and has served me well.

You could probably get $2-300 for the combo. Which should be enough for a new SB chip and motherboard.

I'd probably go around $300. Maybe a little more. Its a $320 CPU and $250 motherboard brand new, so $170/$130 seems reasonable.

Sell it locally though. If you try it here all you'll get is "oh but Microcenter had it for this much"

i think ill put it up here this weekend for $300 maybe $275, but not many people where i currently live know *** an i7 or p55 even are

$150 for the chip, and $100 for the mobo, $250+shipping, or $250 shipped for a quick deal. Its sad to see stuff like this sell so cheap, but I did see a p55-ftw sell for $80 not that long ago. If the chip overclocks well, and you can provide some screens you may get more for it.

Considering that someone has that mobo on the FS section @ $80 shipped and its been maybe a week or more I would say around that price for the mobo atleast.

Since the chip clocks well $275 shipped is reasonable, just include some proof of how the chip clocks. Also keep in mind the chip won't have any warranty as it is lapped and that may detract buyers.

its been overclocked insta warranty ruined.

and anyone buying a cpu that even knows what lapped means would not care about its warranty.
