hi all, i am planing to get a 1366 board again, was thinking between the R3E or the EVga SR-2 (for a massive E-peen)

only thing is, would the SR-2 work with, lets say 2x I7 950's??

i cant afford more than that

if not i'll just get the R3E black edition, or do you guys suggest something else?

X series chips might be the one with dual Qpi since they generally have higher QPI than the E series as well as higher clocks.

X series xeons have dual qpi links and unlocked multipliers iirc

they're the "unlocked/extreme edition/black edition" chips for the xeon line IIRC
