I'm looking to put the board under water using the EK block but I have a question! If you look at the picture you can see that no part of the block cools whatever is between the two CPU slots. Is that part supposed to be cooled? The board comes with a HS there. The pic isn't mine but shows what I'm talking about.

It doesn't look like there is anything to cool there. Maybe the board has a heatsink for cosmetic purposes.

Other SR2 waterblocks don't seem to have this included; maybe EVGA added a heatsink there to create more surface area when cooling on air?
If there is no retention for that area stock, I doubt it has any purpose to cool things under it. That would almost be like putting a heatsink on a cpu and not fastening it down..
