IDK if it will help, but the voltage is adjustable. 700 on air, probably not.
N/M thought I was reading 900, it'll already do that. I want more shader

Going to try some oc'ing now.

IDK if it'll work on your BFG, you could try.

What are the max clocks people are pushing on the GX2.

It MAY work with your BFG, but you aren't supposed to try it. EVGA will only allow someone with a registered EVGA card to download the Voltage Tuner. It's also in the terms of use or EULA that nobody is supposed to redistribute it.

Interesting
I see conflicting reports with the GX2.

So far I'm up 3 shader straps from my previous [email protected] stable shader clock.

Is the 9800GTX+ supported by the voltage tuner?
the voltage tuner works for the GX2?!
no way, i thought we had to use rivatuner
hmm, time to check it out lol

and p.s.
i can hit 700 core, 1800 shader at stock volts on my xfx ...
memory is a diff story. that won't budge much stable.

edit:
i am on server 2008, so i have to use 1.2.1, i can't find a patch for this version, can anyone help?

You're absolutely right, I hit 1998 on the shader for about 30 seconds before the temps went crazy and the driver reset.
It really takes water to push these things.

you prolly get another 1 maybe two straps out of the card on that voltage. when i had my gt under water. dropping 30c on load was nice, for benchmarking and folding. i was able to run very close 800/2000 like 780/1970 something with a 1.1 mod and over 1100 on the mem
