First and foremost, I'm using excel 2007.

I have an X,Y scatter line plot of a cell growth experiment that I did in a laboratory. I was measuring bacterial growth over time and I ran the experiments in triplicate. My line graph plots the average cell counts of the 3 measurements for each time point. Does anyone here know how I can add confidence intervals (error bars) for each point on the graph? The problem I'm running into is that excel is giving me error bars based upon the mean of all the points on my graph, thus making the error bars the same for every point. I want the error bars calculated individually for every point, since each one represents a mean. How do I tell excel to make my error bars as such?
