I'm looking to mount 5 BNC receptacles onto an expansion slot cover, like on the following Nvidia Quadro bracket:

The guideline specifications for the hole required for mounting the receptacles is a Double D punch hole as shown below:

Any ideas on how I can cut 5 of these holes into an expansion slot bracket? The double D hole punchers cost a lot, so that isn't an option.

Alternatively is there anywhere I can buy a slot cover already with 5 round cutouts of a similar shape or dimension?

BNC connectors are round. You don't need an oblong hole.
Just use a 17/32" drill. 17/32" = 13.49375mm and you need a 13.45mm hole.
An 9/16" would work too.

Thanks for the suggestions

I think the suggested dimensions are a bit off but it's a good idea. The BNC receptacles, and the isolation bushes I intend to use are actually Double D shaped, not round, but I could probably get away with a round hole.

If you look at the diagram you posted, you will see that the recommended mounting hole there is also a Double D shape. Also, if you note the dimensions, a 13.45mm hole would only fit one dimension of the receptacle, the hole would need to be at least 16.1mm in diameter to mount it.

Perhaps an 11.2mm drill bit would do the job though.

I would still prefer to have the suggested Double D hole if possible. Any ideas?

By hand, with a Dremel or my milling attachment.
