Some parts are startling, but others, not very scary. By startling I mean outta nowhere something jumps right in your face...
It's creepy... but hella fun.
Best game I've played since GTA IV
imho

I wouldn't say scared, but there were a few things that caught me off guard.
Good game, haven't tried multiplayer though.

I wouldn't say scary, like it doesn't have me afraid to walk around my place in the dark, but it does make me jump a lot. Sometimes I just know somethings going to happen so I cut the volume down a bit

EDIT: lol at everyone saying the same thing

Play it in a dark room at night by yourself with the volume turned up. Guaranteed to poop your pants.
i played FEAR, got it for $3 at goodwill!! WOOT

but its very freaky... lots of suspense and freaky stuff. definately a scare if ur playing late at night, which i did lol
i can play scary games for 5-10 mins before i take a break.... im a puss

I get the same way. I am not all up for that stuff jumping out at you suddenly stuff. I like my war games, I can handle tanks and waves of soilders, but you get me into a dark room where I KNOW something is jumping to get in my face, I freak.

I play with the lights off and using headphones...and yes, it is scary.
With the light on you don't realise how flickery the screen gets, as the darkness encroaches upon you and your soul......
Only had a couple of points where I've actually jumped back (well...pushed my chair back)..but overall (so far) very creepy
No don't get it. I played the demo, it scared the crap out of me and i loved it. Bought the full game and it's a massive disappointment. I bought fear1 the week before i got fear2 for £3 and loved it. I suggest just getting fear1 instead, despite the graphics.
yeah i have the game siting under my desk where i put all my other games.....
pre ordered it...played for the first 15 mins...closed the game and too scared to open the game again XD
