are there any folding at home live cds out there? like a small version of linux with the bare minimum and FAH. or is there a folding oriented linux distribution. it seems to me like it would be better than running it in windows because it wouldnt have to bother with any of the other crap running

Ive heard of http://overclockix.octeams.com

There shouldn't be any distros that include FAH because I believe the EULA prohibits distributing it like that.

Also, check out http://fahwiki.net/index.php/The_FAH_client_on_Linux <-- only recommending if you decide to install Linux and FAH
