Have you followed the guides here? Did you choose SMP or GPU when installing the client?

If so, a screenshot of the client please.

I did that, file size is too big,
how to compress so I can post it up here?
Just upload it to imageshack.us or imgur.com and post the link here instead.

wait, which tutorial am I supposed to follow for windows 7 64 bit?
there you go!
so how do I feex it?
last time I could only fix it by a full uninstall and then a fresh reinstall,
but then every time I quit it won't connect again?>
Sounds like it might not be saving your slot settings correctly.

Go to the install location (C> Program Files (x86)> FAHClient), and open config.xml. Post the contents here please.

Get this every time I start up FAH cli ent control

"The local client exited unexpectedly, please check for errors in the log file in the following directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient\Data

Restart the client?"

If that happens every time, I'd suggest reinstalling.

Yeah... redownload while you're at it too... you shouldn't be getting that error every time you start up/
credits always says "Unknown",
I hope I don't have to reinstall every time I want to restart the client ;(

this is my 3rd install in 48 hrs

Its a bug that is effecting remote control as well.

I need to make a ticket about it, when I get home ill explain a work around.

Alright next time you can not see your clients and its trying to connect try this...

1. Go to advanced mode (top right dropdown box)

2. On the left you will either see a location or not. (blue box)

If something is there just remove it by pressing remove at the bottom (red box)
If nothing was there then go ahead and add a new host, by pressing add.

3. You will now see this window.
In the name, type in anything you want like "Cookie" or "Chris is awesome".

Then in the IP address type in localhost and save.

If localhost does not work, then go ahead and repeat the steps and try with 127.0.0.1

Erm... Chris?

He's saying he can't connect to his local client; not remote ones.

Yea I got that, and I said "remote client as well" meaning it happens to both.
Others have had that problem to local client, including myself it's rather annoying.

I'm having this same problem. I think it's not starting the actual client when I start the client control. Using LiLChris's screenshot above as a reference, my 'Configure' window lacks the 'Local Client' block.
