hmmm. i find it the other way around - i LOVED bioshock, and Fallout 3 isn't sucking me in past Megaton -i just get bored...
try finishing Hephaestus, look for as many tapes as you can find, and go through the game slowly - maybe that will help you catch onto the story... if not, well, hey - to each his own
