Fan controller/LCD display

Hello all, I'm new to this forum as you could probably tell by the post count.

I want to build a new system and have a question. I want to have four temp reading and 8 fan controllers. I like the simple displays like below link.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811998055

That one has only four fan controllers but four readings.

This one has 6 fan controllers but no read outs. If I would get something like this I would think about taking it apart and just use the rheostats through the panel.

The other route I was thinking was just using two of the scythes and just deal with four extra readings.

I hope this all made since. Any help would be appreciated just please dont post the displays that look digital or alot of colors. Simple displays is what I like.

Thanks in advance

I forgot to add that the 8 fans are going to be used for as below listed.

6 on two 120.3
2 on case
If you have molex connections on your fans, you can stack two fans onto one controller by connecting them via male to female molex then plugging in the 3 pin into teh controller.

wait can you explain this in more detail I always wanted to know how to hook up my antec 900's front molex fans to a fan controller.

I emailed skythe and they said they would not recomend doing that due to not getting enough voltage to run at full speed. Here is the fans I'm looking at.

Unless they were talking out there but, I wouldn't know either way
Just get the high speeds and undervolt them, you'll be able to stack them just fine and you'll get the same CFM/rpm
So how would I do that. Molex two together I understand that but the controller 3 wire, correct?, just hook one up and it will controll both?

Yea.

but how do you hook up a molex to a 3pin controller ?
Yeah that is the style I don't like and I want to take up less room. I would really like just to have one display that can scroll through 4 different sensors and have 8 rheostats through the panel to control the fans.

If anyone know where I can get these instead that would work better.

Yate loons come with a 3 pin soldered to the molex plug.

so it's Molex -> Molex (2nd fan)
V
3 Pin -> Controller.

Hmm I like that idea but how much would the voltage go down do you think?
Hi i don't mean to piggyback this thread and i won't ask for anything different than the OP, i'm looking for exactly the same solution.
Just in case someone knows a good solution they'll be helping a few of us. Cheers.
No worries on the piggy back. I just hope someone has seen these items for sale somewhere.

If not I think I might buy the two scythes and take all the rheostats (controlers) and displays apart and just use the rheostats and one display.

Since this would be going into my new wood computer project.

Or just go with a higher speed fan and do a piggy back molex and one control wire for both like Sono sugested.

Another question just came up though. Normally one 12v from the PSU has about 3 or 4 molex per run, correct?
Well with that, would running 8 fans through 4 molexs and 4 controllers work or would that be too much for that 12v run?
Or something like this... You don't really need to control the 2 for your case...

Thanks but I don't like that style of display and it is too big. I know it sounds picky but this case I want to make, the less the better.

I will post my sketch up link on here to show what I mean.
The second one is the style I posted on the first post but just in black.

What I said above was I would just use one display and the 8 rheos

Opps miss read what you said I really don't need to but I would like to be able to if possible
Ok here might be a little more clear on what I will be using this on.
