Fan Filters for HAF932

997 Views 12 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  Blackhawk4
Picking up one of these bad boys for christmas. Noticed the size of the fans, fricking huge. Didn't even know they came in 230mm!
Anyways, the filters I usually got off newegg only come in the 120mm variety. Doing a forum search pointed me in the direction of pantyhose.. but errr, no. >.>; My PC is my baby and I spend far too much time on it to ghetto rig anything.

Anybody aware of a reliable/good model this size that can be purchased?

just leave it without fan filters then if you want fan filters they are going to be pantyhose if you don't have fan filters just clean your case every once and a while
Is that your way of saying that nobody makes 230mm fan filters?
Gonna give this a one-time bump to see if anybodies heard of anything like this~
I looked and had no such luck when I had my HAF

Sorry dude, I also did some quick searching and didn't find anything in that 230mm filter...you may have to get creative and mod some yourself and if you do i'd really like to see that.

Cooler Master posted something on their forums a while back in May saying they were gonna release some, but there hasn't been any updates since then.
Here's the thread: http://forum.coolermaster.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12389
They did the same thing with the R4 fan series, so who knows, they might release them.
You could use Pantyhose over the fans, I do that with all my fans and I will be getting a HAF932 soon and will do the same. It's cheap and they work very well.

Haha wow, 35 bucks x.x; The magnets scare me to be quite honest, maybe I'm better off just going custom like everybody else did.

Cheaper, More air flow allowed and gives you an excuse and if you get a weird look buying nylon stockings say it's a christmas gift
