I have 3 200mm CM Megaflow fans plugged into PSU, 1 140mm fan, 2 GPU`s both at 20% and a Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler. When Iam in BIOS the PC sounds very quiet with all fans spinning, what can be making all the noise when I idle in Windows?

My friend has a similar system and his PC is very quiet

perhaps you have your gpus set to full when in windows with msi or another application

I dont have any other applications apart from Catalyst, I set the GPU`s higher they make a lot of noise, but at 20% I dont think its them making the noise, I dont know if I can plug all the 200mm fans into my mobo then change the RPM I heard Im not suppose to do that and keep them plugged into the PSU

if they are plugged directly in psu try using the mobo cause psu could make them run at way uber fast if you no using fan controller
