Ignore the bad reviews..mine has been running flawlessly for 6 months
I asked this in ATCS840 topic but got no avail responses. Are those fans good? Can those fans fit all three spots in the ATCS840 230mm holes? I'm thinking of grabbing 3 so I can replace the stock 230MM fans that come with the ATCS840 and running them at 7 or 5v depending on their performance.

I'm thinking of getting some Scythe Gentle AP-14s for the bottom intake and exhaust for this case, however how well is it verses Noctua NF-S12B FLX? or even are there any "better" fans for this case?

Also I would like to add 2 fans on the HD mount that the ATCS840 provides, however..again I do not know which fans are well suited for these applications. (I'm looking for the best noise/performance fans, something not too loud but not too silent that it sucks at cooling)

I have also asked if one should disable the top front 230MM fan as it draws out air prematurely, some say to leave it on, some say to undervolt it, others say to disable it completely. I'm not sure which I should do.

Sort of OT: What is the best way to mod the MB tray on this case, as I would like to hide most if not all cables and route them behind the tray.

Thanks for all the help OC community

Do you want "Set and forget" fans? or do you mind a fan controller??

A fan controller can ban had cheap, and allow you set set your fan speeds.
Sunbeam Fan Thingy
If you want to conroll more fans you can use a Y cable.

As for set and forget fans check out Scyth Gental Typhoon's. they come in many diff RPM's and are very quiet for the airflow they profide.
Yea set and forget fans are what I'm looking for, don't need a fan controller, although are fan controllers worth the setup and time to get it running?

Are Scythe Typhoons the only "good" fans for this case? They are outta stock everywhere so are there any good alternatives?

Yes, the only way to run fans are with a controller
no real setup required just plug your fans into the controller and plug your controller into your psu, then you can adjust the speeds with the knobs, piece of cake.

Lies! You can run them off your motherboard
but is a fan controller the BEST way? If so which fan controllers are the best for the money?

Now I'm still looking for fans for this case, does anyone have experience in those 200MM fans by NZXT?

Okay, I got the sunbeam 4 fan controller, gonna hook up at least 2 fans per channel, hope all goes well.

How is this? (ATCS840)

First channel:
1x200MM NZXT FN-200 Front Intake

Second Channel:
1x120MM San Ace 118CFM Front Intake (Lian-Li Bay)

Third Channel:
1x120MM San Ace 118CFM Bottom Intake

Fourth Channel:
2x200MM NZXT FN-200 Top Exhaust

My new GT AP-15s on the CM212+ Push/pull will be on the 3pin motherboard headers

Rear Exhaust S-Flex F also controlled via motherboard
