Updated mine some time ago, too. Works for non-FF 2.0, even.
I don't like Firefox 2.0 though, can't use shortcuts while posting (ALT+B for Bold, ALT+I for Italics etc. and ALT+S for posting)

You don't need FF 2.0. In my opinion, you should stick to non-2.0

Go into Help > About > It should say the version number under the large orange "Firefox" text.

What this does is it cache's and loads all the links on pages you browse so when you click them you have already downloaded the data while you were reading he previous page. Its a good idea but it will slow down your downloads if you have multiple web pages open because it will be using more bandwidth when you didnt actually ask it to and so downloads will slow down I think.

I've tried it, and it doesn't work. Trust, me I've tried anything.

It's called prefetching, and I don't see a reason to why it shouldn't be enabled.
Right click on your Fasterfox icon in the tray > Options > FasterFox tab > Enable Enhanced Prefetching.
You might want to add some obvious things in the restrictor, for example:

Code:
Code:
*adserv*
*888*
*pr0n*
*pron*
*porn*
*xxx*

But this will slow down any downloads you have going if you have one browser window open because it cache's all links without you knowing sucking bandwidth from the download.
