Faulty laptop, should I RMA or warranty?

Just got an Asus notebook from Newegg, and it turns out it has problems... it shuts down after a few seconds (only when plugged in though, so I think it's the GPU or power supply). In any case, I think I'll probably return it and get a new one... should I go through Newegg or Asus?

Newegg. Usually they're good with retuns and if you just got it they're more likely to accept it as DoA than if you have it for a few months then return it

EDIT: Ahh... wait. Newegg says it's not eligible for replacement... so I guess warranty?
