I have to agree. There's over 2MB difference between the installers of 10.01 and 10.10, but considering all the features packed in, Opera is still one of the slimmest browsers out there.

It sucks how I'm the only one among my friends who uses Opera. <1% market share FTL.

Well lately firefox has been pissing me off. Its gotten really slow and bloated so I tried decided to try opera because my current verison of Chromium crashes on flash sites. I like Opera a lot. I also use Opera Mini on my phone.

Think I'll be switching over to opera!

Understandable. But its still alive and kicking.

As far as I know, its doing quite well in the mobile market as well.

Fortunately it isn't, or else other browsers would have run out of good ideas to implement.

Opera has great mouse gestures and the tabbed browsing has always worked efficiently.

For example, holding right-click and spinning the scroll-wheel flips through your opened tabs. Hold down the right-click and press the left-click goes "back" and vice versa.

You can set newly opened tabs to open next to the active one instead of at the end.
All these things came to the other browsers later on or can be done through add-ons.

Opera

::Edit:: Has anyone tried Unite with a PS3 yet?

omg I downloaded opera and i think i just made a mess in my pants

this thing is awesome, stream your music from anywhere, file sharing, and webserver?!..............is this like a real webserver or just like make a cute little site for your friends type thing? cause i was thinking of setting up a small forum and chat room for about 15 people in my club here at school would this work?
Most of Opera's user base comes from the game http://www.tribalwars.net. The single keystroke tab switching makes it magic for using multiple tabs to launch timed attacks...

Its fast to the point where you can hit the "OK" button on 5 tabs in under half a second.

That's a disturbing way to use a web browser...

Opera 10 has been randomly locking up on my desktop and laptop. Opera 8/9 worked fine.

Hopefully this will fix it.
can you access the streaming music and file sharing things from a non opera web browser? like say can I take a laptop with firefox, type in some web address and get my music streaming off my desktop that has opera?

and what is the single keystroke to change tabs? besides the mouse right click spin wheel

and i gotta say for a second there i thought opera was reading my mind, my mouse has a side button that I use to go back a page, in Firefox it does it after i release the mouse click, opera does the command upon the button getting pressed
