So my 6950 is not a reference card as it is a twin frozr II model and because I have to use a 6870 block everything isn't 100% compatible and I can't use my compression fittings. Would it be safe if I filed the pcb down a bit?

What the craziness? Use a spacer, that's the proper method.

^^This, I would also get the last one as first preference. Less hassle.

The spacer is also a sleek alternative. But depends on the height you need to clear the PCB.

@pgimps, pretty sure you have enough information now for you to avoid filling the PCB
