Truly worthy successor to the Nexus 7.

I currently have both a Samsung S2 8" and a Huawei T2 7.0 Pro 7".

Finally was able to snag a new Huawei Mediapad X2 through AliExpress.

I got the Silver 32GB/3GB version (701L). It's also known as the Gem.

Its a beast of a tablet. The only negative is it only comes with Android 5.1. (and it doesn't have a finger print sensor like my S2 and T2 Pro has).

It's crazy fast, has a huge 5000 mAh battery (which on a 7" screen is pretty awesome). By comparison the Nexus 7, 2nd gen only had a 3950 mAh battery.

It also has an all aluminum body and virtually no bezels around the screen.

With a super thin cover on it, it fits easily in a pocket and lasts 2 days.

I use 7" tablets primarily for reading and a requirement is that I can carry my entire library. Unfortunately, my T2 7.0 Pro only has 16GB of storage and storing books on a Micro SD slot causes Moon Reader Pro to bog down when it is checking for indexing purposes. My T2 had run out of space.

The 1920x1200 IPS screen has a whopping 524 nit brightness level by comparison the Nexus 7 has 583. both are at the top end of the spectrum in terms of brightness. It's also far brighter than my S2 (although the S2 AMOLED screen is superior).
